Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026
Draft pending legal review. The commercial terms below match what the billing system does today. The legal framing around them is placeholder and must be reviewed before launch.
These terms govern your use of SellerTower. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
The service
SellerTower is retail management software: a catalogue, stock, orders, invoices, returns and the staff permissions around them. We provide it as a hosted service and may change or improve it over time. We will not remove a capability your plan includes without telling you first.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your staff do.
- Keep your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think they have been used.
- You must not use SellerTower to break the law, to store data you have no right to store, or to attack the service or anyone on it.
Plans, seats and payment
- SellerTower is sold on plans. Each plan includes an allowance of stores and staff; more can be bought as seats, charged per unit per month.
- Fees are charged in advance for the billing period you choose, monthly or annual, in your account's billing currency. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current period, so you keep what you paid for until it runs out.
- Buying a seat charges you for it. Switching a store or staff member off frees the seat for reuse; it does not itself refund the seat.
- Fees exclude taxes, which are added where they apply.
If a payment fails
We retry, and we email you. If it stays unpaid we open a grace period during which your account keeps working. If the grace period ends without payment, access is restricted and resources above your remaining allowance may be archived — not deleted. Paying restores them.
Cancelling
You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then drops to the Free plan. We do not refund a part-used period unless the law requires it. Dropping to Free means your account exceeds the Free allowances, and stores or staff beyond them will be switched off — you choose which store to keep.
Your data
Your business records and your customers' details are yours. We hold them to run the service and process them as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export them, and you can delete your account, which removes them as that policy describes.
You are responsible for having the right to store the customer data you put into SellerTower, and for answering your own customers' requests about it.
Availability
We work to keep SellerTower available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for downtime caused by something outside our control.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that goes unpaid, that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other merchants at risk. Except where the risk is immediate, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
Liability
[Placeholder — counsel to draft.] The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use SellerTower after that means you accept them.
Governing law
[Placeholder — counsel to specify jurisdiction and dispute resolution.]
