Creating your account
The signup wizard, the verification code, and what gets created for you.
Signing up is a five-step wizard. At the end you have a business, its first store, and a plan — ready to sell.
Who can do this: anyone; the person who signs up becomes the business's Administrator.
Before you start: an email address you can read — a verification code goes there — and a decision about country, because it cannot be changed later.
1. Your details#
Enter your First name, Last name, Email address and a Password (at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character). Press Continue.
Nothing permanent exists yet — if you stop here, the pending signup simply expires.
2. Verification#
We sent an 8-character code to your email address. Type it into Verification code and press Verify email.
- The code lasts 10 minutes — the screen counts down and tells you when it has expired.
- You get 5 attempts per code and 3 resends (Resend code shows how many are left; a resend after expiry issues a fresh code and resets your attempts).
- Cancel returns you to step 1 and clears the form.
When the code is accepted, your account exists and you are signed in automatically.
3. Business profile#
- Business name — what your company is called.
- Business alias — a short handle in lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores. Spaces convert to hyphens as you type, and the form checks availability live. Your staff will type this alias every time they sign in. It is permanent.
- Country — the wizard itself puts it best: "Choose the country you actually operate in. Your prices, your billing currency and the features available to you follow it. The country and currency cannot be changed after signup."
- Description — optional.
- Reseller ID and Promo code — optional; fill them only if a partner gave you one. An invalid promo code never blocks signup — it is simply not applied, and the screen tells you why. You can add one later from Billing.
- Store name — your first store, pre-filled as Main. Rename it to your real shop.
Press Continue. Behind the scenes this creates your business, your first store, and the five built-in staff roles, and starts you on the Free plan.
4. Choose a plan#
Pick a paid plan, or take Continue with Free Tier underneath the cards. This step has its own page: Choosing a plan at signup.
5. Your account is ready#
The success screen takes you to your dashboard. From here, the quick start gets you to a first sale.
Stopping midway and coming back#
You can leave at any step. Signing in later resumes the wizard exactly where you stopped — until the plan is chosen, the rest of the app stays closed. If you want to abandon a half-finished signup entirely, the wizard's start-over path deletes it and frees your email address for a fresh attempt.
