Products & inventory: start here

Products and inventory are two different things in SellerTower. This page helps you find the section that answers your question.

A product is in the catalogue and belongs to your whole business. It has a name, a SKU, a barcode, a price, tax settings and images. Inventory is that product's stock in one store: how many you have, in which batches, and what happens when it runs low.

Adding a product does not give any store stock of it. You link the product to a store, and then you add its stock there.

Added once to the catalogue.

Linked to a store

Gives it a stock on hand count there.

• Sold An order takes stock out.
• Returned Restocked, quarantined or written off.
• Quarantined Held aside and not for sale.
• Written off Removed for good.
