The fulfilment board
Moving orders through fulfilment on one board.

The Fulfillment board (under Orders) is the kitchen-and-counter view of open orders: one tab per fulfilment type the store operates, that type's own steps as lanes, and each order a card you drag forward.
Who can do this: anyone with order view can look; moving cards needs the change-order-statuses permission — a viewer sees a banner saying exactly that.
How it works#
- The board shows open orders — completed and cancelled drop off.
- The lanes are that type's fulfilment steps; the delivery tab adds its Failed lane.
- Drag a card to the next lane, or open its Move menu — which offers all three status axes, so payment can be recorded from the same card.
- As the page's own subtitle says, "Every change asks the state machine": a drop the server would refuse doesn't happen, and the card shows the server's reason ("cannot complete fulfillment before payment") instead of pretending.
Cancelling from the board asks first, in full: "Cancelling is permanent. There is no un-cancel. Stock returns and any store credit is released. Continue?"
Configuring it#
The board is switched on per store in Fulfillment settings, which also sets which type tabs appear, their order, and the default tab. A store that hasn't enabled it gets a pointer there instead of an empty board. The board is a desktop tool — on a phone the app points at the orders list instead.
