Comparing plans
How to read the plan cards, and the difference between monthly and annual billing.
The plan picker shows every plan side by side, with prices for your country. Signup uses the same screen.
Who can do this: the Administrator. Open Billing from the menu under your name, then press Change plan (or Upgrade plan).
Reading a card#
- The price. Per month, or per year if you switch to annual.
- What is included. How many stores and staff seats the price includes, and the monthly price of each extra seat. The note under the cards says: "Each plan includes everything in the plan below it. Store and staff allotments and add-on rates are set per plan". So these numbers are not carried up from the plan below.
- The features. Each card starts with "Everything in" the plan below, then lists only what it adds.
- The free plan's card also shows its monthly order limit.
- The button. Your own plan shows Current plan. Higher plans show Upgrade, lower plans show Downgrade.
Which currency#
A line near the top tells you which currency the prices are in. Each country bills its plans in its own currency or in US dollars. Your business's billing currency was set when you signed up, and it cannot change.
Monthly or annual#
The Monthly and Annual switch changes the billing period. When you choose Annual, the cards show 2 months free.
To change the billing period of your current plan, press Change cycle on the Billing page.
- Monthly to annual counts as an upgrade. You pay a prorated amount straight away to cover the rest of the year.
- Annual to monthly starts at the end of the year you have already paid for.
