Printing barcode and QR labels for your products.
The label workspace prints scannable tags for a product's stock — shelf labels, price tags, per-unit stickers — straight from the browser's print dialog.
Who can do this: anyone who can view inventory; open it from a stock row's menu.
Choosing the format#
- Vector QR code — encodes the product's identifier (or its SKU when there is no barcode) as a scannable 2D code. Works for every product.
- Linear barcode — a real EAN-13. Numeric codes only: an EAN-13 is thirteen digits by definition, so a product without a numeric identifier cannot take this format — give it one on the product form, or print QR.
What the label says#
Tick the metadata each label carries — product name, SKU, the identifier, price (from the base catalogue, this store's price, or a custom figure), store or business name, expiry and manufacture dates, batch number.
How many labels print follows the product's tracking mode:
- A standard product prints the quantity of copies you ask for.
- A batch-tracked product prints labels for one chosen batch — so the expiry date on the sticker is that batch's, not a guess.
- A serialized product prints one label per available unit, each carrying its own serial number.
Paper#
Presets cover an 80mm POS roll (one label per cut) and A4, A3 and Letter sheets, with small, medium, large, custom or automatic label sizes. The preview repaginates as you change them, and warns when a size cannot fit the paper.
