Business profile
Your business identity, and why the country and currency are fixed.
Your business is your whole account. It has one owner (the Administrator), one subscription and one country. Your stores, staff, products and orders all belong to it.
Who can do this:
- Staff open Business profile from the menu under their name. It is read-only.
- The Administrator sees the same facts at the top of Business settings, in the same menu. Only the Administrator can change anything. See Business settings.
What the profile shows#
| Field | What it means |

| Name | Your business name. The Administrator can change it in Business settings. |
| Alias | The short name staff type when they sign in. It has a copy button. It never changes. |
| Country | Chosen at signup. The page says: "Fixed at signup. Your prices and billing currency follow it." |
| Type | The kind of business. |
| Status | Active when the account is in good standing, or Restricted. |
| Description | A short description. The Administrator can change it in Business settings. |
Your currencies#
Two currencies come from your country, and both are set at signup:
- The currency your stores trade in. Every order, invoice and refund uses it. Every store uses the same one. On the store form, the Store currency field is shown but cannot be changed.
- The currency your subscription is billed in. This is your country's currency or US dollars, depending on your country.
