Billing settings
A tour of the billing page.
Billing (sidebar user menu) is where the money side of the account lives. It reads top to bottom, and nothing on it is a form — every block acts on its own.
Staff who open it see the honest refusal instead: "No access to billing — Billing and subscription details are managed by the business owner. Ask them if you need a change to the plan or the payment method." That is by design; billing facts are the Administrator's alone.
The blocks, top to bottom#
- Attention strip — anything needing action (a failed payment, a booked change) appears here first.
- Pending-change banner — when a downgrade or departure is scheduled, this names the date and offers the outs.
- Current plan — what you're on, with Change plan, Cancel subscription and the billing-cycle switch. The plan picker these open is covered in Comparing plans.
- Allotments — the store and staff seat meters: included, bought, in use, free, with the buy and release actions.
- Order meter — on the Free plan, how much of the monthly order allowance is used.
- Billing details — "How you pay, and any codes attached to your account": the Stripe customer portal row (card, invoices, receipts), and any promo or reseller codes.
